No Script: The Podcast

No Script: The Podcast | S4 Episode 8: “Mother Courage and Her Children” by Bertolt Brecht

February 24, 2020

This week on No Script, Jackson and Jacob take one of theatre's greatest scripts: Brecht's striking play "Mother Courage and Her Children." In his powerful anti-war epic, Brecht imagines a woman who makes her living by selling supplies to soldiers during wartime. In the course of the play, that same war which she relies on for her business claims all three of Courage's children. Listen in as Jackson and Jacob discuss Brecht's alienation techniques as well as the connections to a script No Script covered in Season 2!
